Columbia College Today Profiles CTICE Intern Leeza Mangeldas, CC'11
Columbia College Today, the official magazine of the University's original liberal arts college, profiled Leeza Mangaldas for her work conceptualizing and organizing "Living Peace: Spiritual Approaches to Achieving Inner Peace" -- the series of CTICE-sponsored workshops in June 2008.
An Columbia Global Scholar from Goa, India, Mangaldas is a member of the Columbia College Class of 2011.
In the article, CTICE Executive Director Jack McGourty praised Mangaldas for making "Living Peace" a reality.
“Leeza managed the project like a professional … the project has been a major success in terms of community participation, receptivity and community building,” he said.
Mangaldas is working with CTICE to make "Living Peace" an ongoing event, with events during the academic year in addition to a yearly workshop series each summer.
