Entrepreneur in Residence
The Engaged Entrepreneurship Program at CTICE strives to create a consistent resource for students in developing a strong entrepreneurial culture at Columbia University. The Entrepreneur in Residence is a key component of this initiative, connecting students, faculty and alumni to human resources and providing support for the development of entrepreneurship at Columbia and its surrounding community.
The Entrepreneur in Residence provides the following services:
- Advising/Coaching. Coach participants on business ideas and inquiries, help establish goals for mentor relationships, and provide support for students, faculty and alumni.
- Facilitation. Foster positive mentoring relationships between students and potential entrepreneurial resources, including the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, the Faculty Advisory Committee, Columbia Engineering alumni, and other experts, including off-campus entrepreneurs.
- Assist in Managing Business Process. Monitor progress of business development through the various methods of support initiated by the Engaged Entrepreneurship Program at CTICE. This includes the mentorship network, entrepreneurship minor academic courses, co-curricular programming and advising.
If you are interested in serving as a mentor, or you are a student who would like a mentor, please contact Bruce Lincoln, Entrepreneur in Residence, at bl2317@columbia.edu.
