New York City Resources for Small Business

The NYCEDC Entrepreneurial Investment Fund seeks proposals from investment management professionals interested in forming, capitalizing and managing up to five funds to make early stage investments in start-up companies with headquarters and all key operations in the City of New York.  In addition to investing in its portfolio companies each fund will also provide certain additional services to their portfolio companies and other early stage companies based in the City.

The NYCEDC Procurement Outreach Program (POP) works to assist New York City businesses develop the tools and expertise to identify and successfully bid on Federal, State and City contracting opportunities. The program is designed to provide a brief initial counseling session, review clients’ products or services and assess their chances of becoming successful contractors.

New York City Business Solutions. FastTrac helps entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to start, manage and grow a successful business. The City of New York has partnered with the Kauffman Foundation to provide two no cost FastTrac courses to New Yorkers: FastTrac NewVenture and FastTrac GrowthVenture.
